1951 Panhead chopper for sale

My buddy John has his 1951 panhead for sale. My buddy Tom Fugle wrote all the details below. This is a killer bike with an awesome history. EFMC. THE BIKE IS  $12,000 A VERY GOOD DEAL

I'll give you a little background about John and his choppers.

In 1967, at the age of 17 John saw Tiny Brower and myself, members of El Forastero Motorcycle Club, riding choppers throughout the Sioux City area.

Choppers are all he has wanted to build since then. He worked at the grocery store and couldn't build exactly what he wanted at that time.

In June 1970 he bought this 1951 panhead (full dresser). Chopped it early 1970's style. 15" over glide front end, 2" narrow triple trees, about a 50 degree rake. At that time nobdy was stretching front frame legs.

John became a El Forastero Club Member in 1975, and is still a member today. He rode this bike untill 1978. He thinks like I do riding is only half the fun, building choppers is the other half. In 1978 he bought a brand new nose cone shovelhead motor. Built that chopper rode it until 1992. Then he bought a brand new FXR and immediately chopped it to the max.

The pan sat in pieces until 1993. At that time he started a total rebuild in the 1960's style that he couldn't afford to do in 1967. The chopper has a 7" over stock Harley Springer with a 36 degree rake~1.8 gallon peanut tank~ 5/8" in stainless steel sissy bar~12 volt charging system~Bendix carborator~ The pictures show all other features which are too numerous to mention.

The reasons this 1951 panhead is for sale is because he needs the money to buy a brand new 103, 6 speed. He has to have that thrill of combining new and old ideas into building choppers with the latest technology.

This bike is in very good condition. The motor was totally rebuilt and has only about 3000 miles on it.

If there are any questions feel free to contact me @ lovecycles80@gmail.com and I can put you in contact with John.

4 year anniversary campout

Ok, I pinned down the location for this year's camp out. I am doing it at Bartlett Flats at Bartlett lake, which is located about 65 miles north east of phoenix. There is about 2 miles of open beach camping and it is first come first serve. I will have signs posted when you get to the lake.  You will have to ride down about 3 miles of maintained dirt road to get to the site.

My buddy Karl from KDS designs in Australia hooked up this killer poster for this years show. Thanks so much.
This year is more about getting out and riding your bike. load it down with all your neccesary camping gear and fishing pole and get ready to relax by the lake with friends and family.
There are no bands or D.J.s this year, just the sounds of nature, campfires and old choppers puttin through the desert.

There will still be a place to display your choppers and I will be giving out a couple of awards.

There is gonna be a killer pollo asado dinner Saturday night hooked up by my mom and pops and a breakfast on Sunday.
BYOB and other refreshments, just no glass containers please, they are prohibited at the lake.

Each camper will need to purchase a Tonto National Forest pass from any of the local gas stations in the surrounding area. They are 6 dollars per day. You can find out all that info on the link below.

I ask when you come for the campout to remove all garbage and leave it the way you found it!! We will not be the only people at the lake during the weekend so I ask everyone to be respectful and mindful of others please.
See you soon. Love Jeremiah

Scouting show locations for knuckleheads at Bartlett lake

Me and the Family took a little cruise out to Bartlett lake which is about 65 miles north of phoenix. Scouting for possible locations to have this years 4 year anniversary show. The show has outgrown my shop and I can no longer do it at the shop. So this year I am planning to do a campout instead, I am just trying to find a good location for it so we chose to check out the lake which has tons of camping area and miles and miles of beautiful desert riding.

We happened to coincidentally run into my good buddy mike who was out on a little cruise on his 38 knuckle and his buddy dan who was riding his killer 37 knuck. Bartlett Lake is a killer little spot with tons of lakeside camping and fishing exploring or whatever you like you can even bring a boat and go fishin or skiing.

I just have to clear some things with the forest service to see if its a go but Iam pretty sure it will be More details to come real soon. Each person who plans to camp or spend the day at the lake will be required to purchase a U.S. forest service Tonto National Forest Camping PASS which is $ 15 bucks.

Stay Tuned The show is set for MArch 9 and 10, 2013 I will know the final details soon.
