I had been stressin for the last month about my frame being super tweeked. The front motor mount was bent all to hell the lower legs were smashed all to bits and the front right down tube looked like an arch in a rainbow and time was runnin out to get her done for the show. Well Kelly and Courtney over @ Haifley bros cleared their jig and got my baby all sweet in a day, Courtney is a maniac when it comes to bending tubes and fixin stuff perfect. He will "rip the TITS off" anything you got. He put a new down tube two new bottom rails, straightened the motor mount and put all the tabs and goodies back perfect. So If you need your frame repaired, straightened, hardtailed or whateves the Haifley crew can sort you out in an instant and for a super good deal. I love you guys

My sweet brother David the Danish Swede who is one of the sweet FUCKER'S came to visit. We had been talking about him coming out to visit for a little while now and he finally came. I asked him a couple months back if he would paint my tank for my knucklehead and he blew me away with what he did.

We talked of all different ways to do it and he came up with the sweetest idea of all from the boys back in time. I shot some pearly white to start and then he laid out flames that you only see in dreams. Then he started. Dippin in water with paint on top. It was the way to go and it turned out amazing. First we did teal green and blue mixed for the first set of flames then purple for the second flames it was super fun cause we had no idea of what we was going to happen with it. My sweet holmbre krash striped the flames which topped it off and then one more coat of pearly white on top. MY sweet squirly brother kelly from Haifley Brothers made the tank with the beautiful dished heart and his big brother dougy did the clean bodywork. I am so grateful to all of you and cant wait to get the beast all finished up and on the road. Love Jeremiah

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS NEAR SHOP

The show is almost here only about 3 weeks to go woooooo hoooooo. It is gonna be a real doozie for sure there is a DAYS INN HOTEL about 1.3 miles from the shop. The hotel has a sweet pool free b-fast and wifi and there is quite a few rooms still open. It is located @ 502 W. Camelback Rd. Phoenix Az 85013 Phone # is 602 264 9290. Today I received the most amazing package in the mail all the way from Sweden. I opened up the box from Le Beef and it was filled to the brim with beautiful handmade goodies. He made a super killer set of his custom mid-controls and he also made the most amazing sissy bar, which will be here soon. I am so excited to be doing my knucklehead with Mattias. He is a true craftsman and super sweet dude. He will be here for the show. I cant wait.

True Arizona Biker Established 1948 "Morris"

I met Morris just about two years ago. He strolled in with another friend of mine, Jim, who told him about me and the little shop. Since the day I met him he has always been so genuine. Another real man from an era I wish I could have experienced. He has always been willing to tell me about his adventures in life and motorcycles. He was born and raised in Phoenix and has seen the city grow and grow. He remembers when Phoenix was all desert, north of McDowell Road and cattle ranches had more population than the city itself. It was a time when the salt river ran free through downtown.

He showed me a couple of pics that first time. I was amazed and shared them on the blog. About two weeks ago, he finally dug out the rest of his pictures and shared them with me. I was speechless. Morris really has some killer history in this state. He got his first 1938 knucklehead at the ripe old age of 16 in 1949. He used to run around all over Arizona, from Prescott to Nogales, Mexico, with a small gang of friends who had Indians and Harley's. I couldn't imagine what it must have been like. Dirt roads and trails, truly amazing I bet for sure.

Morris sold his 1938 in 1952 for $200 bucks when he married his wife Virginia, so they could get a new refrigerator. That same year he was drafted into the Army and went to Korea. He served his time as a Vehicle mechanic. When he came back from Korea he had two children and got back into motorcycles. Later on down the road his son got the bug for bikes and they shared that relationship together. In 1995 Morris tracked down a basket case 1938 and rebuilt the bike of his youth with his son. His son sadly passed eight years ago.

He has a beautiful collection of old Indians and Harley's, and still love building them. At 78, Morris is still going strong. His sweet wife Virginia is alive and well. He is a true piece of history in Arizona. He is a man from a time when men were men.

My good buddy Morris showed me some more pics he dug up from when he was young this was him in 1948 on his 1938 Knucklehead so Killer!! Loads more to come soon once i can scan them in. Morris is another living legend and still living it today.

Skip Taylor EL Forastero M.C. Living Legend

A couple of months ago, I had the honor of meeting Tom Fugle, of the El Forastero M.C., in N.Y.C at the Brooklyn Invitational. It was amazing to meet him and hear some of his great stories. I was blown away by him still kicking, riding and living the life.

Well, fast-forward to about a week ago. I get a phone call and the guy on the other end says, "Can I talk with Jeremiah?" So, I say, "Sure, this is him. Can I help you?" He says, "Yeah, this is Skip Taylor." Instantly, I think no way, Skip, from the "My old gang" painting by David Mann. The second guy over from the right side of the picture, with the crazy iron cross sissy bar. YEP!

I was trippin. These are the guys I look up to. They were living, building, riding the most outrageous choppers in the 60's. A time when it was all new. A time I can only dream of experiencing.

Tom had told me that Skip lived in Phoenix and that I should meet him, but I was just too chicken to call. Well, he said that I should come over and hang. I said of course and I was on my way.

I am glad I went. The experience was pretty awesome. Such a real person. He showed me lots of cool old pics and told me some rad stories. He said I could share them on the blog. Skip is still building killer bikes and is the head mechanic for his drag bike team. He and Tom will be at the show in February with some sweet scooters. It was pretty crazy to see and meet him and look forward to more good times.

Well, today was really awesome. I unloaded the last box of stuff. It made me feel great to be all moved in!!! It has been a solid month of work in the new shop; getting it ready to be a good workspace. I have a lot of catching up to do on bikes and other stuff, but I will keep you posted on all the new, sweet stuff to come.

The store will also be stocked with some real sweet items from good people in our world of motorcycles. STAY TUNED!! Feel free to stop by the new shop and check it out. Next step is completing the rest of the machine shop. That's the part I really can't wait to have done. It will be super.

The New LOVE SHACK!!!!

The good times to come. After about a month of being on the search for a new home for the shop, I finally found it. WOOOO HOOO! I had been going stir crazy these last couple months trying to figure out where we would plant our feet. As much as I wanted to leave Phoenix, it just wasn't the time to go yet. Family always comes first...

THe new shop is super rad and has way more space than I would ever need. I look forward to all the stuff to come and all the work i need to catch up on. Lots of good stuff in the pipeline - new love parts and some sweet cycles. I should be up and running in a couple weeks, after a little renovations.

The new shop is located just down the street from the old place @ 4532 N. 7th st. Feel free to stop by and say hello or if you need any parts for your scooter we have lots of that stuff too.

The LOVE 3 year anniversary is back on schedule too and is gonna be February 5, 2012. It's gonna be a real doozy this year so mark your calendars. More info to come soon.

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go NYC cause the sweet gentlemen over @ the WKITHOK invited me to be a part of their amazing bikeshow in brooklyn along with a ton of amazing people. It was my first time to the big apple all I can say is everyone must go at least once it is amazing. Went to the top of the empire state building, saw some real big dinosaurs, relaxed in a park that you could get lost in, the whole city is breathtaking. The bike show and the days leading up to it were mind boggling, I ate to much sushi and fried chicken, met Mr. Tom Fugle a truely amazing living legend... About 2 years ago my buddy robert found this cool old belt buckle here in phoenix. I took a couple pics of it a posted it up on the blog cause i thought it was so cool. It turns out this belt buckle has some real cool history behind it. Myra who is jeff old girlfriend contacted me and this is what she told me.

Hey Jeremiah, I'm writing in response to the Buckle I saw on internet. In 1974, my boyfriend, actor, stuntman, Jeff Ramsey owned that Harley...we used to ride it up and down Ventura Blvd, the Valley, in the 70's. He and a friend, John Lynxwyler, who changed his named to Link Wyler, had the famous western artist, Al Shelton carve the wax and it was poured in bronze at Wyler's foundry. I own one myself with the initial M carved on gas tank. I have some photos of myself sitting on the bike. Al Shelton carved many different buckles for the movies and tv series the producers would give to the cast....very few of the Harley buckle tho....hang on to it...MMK Sorry I am so late, a lot going on, but found these from Jeff Ramsey...he is still alive a well, will send some other photos...best, Myra...ps, Jeff in Spain at the bull fights, when he returns, will ask where this bike went...I know he didn't have in in "75 and these were taken in '74....

Goodbye old friend!!!

I received some bad news the other day while working away in my little home away from home. My Landlord rings me up and says Jeremiah I SOLD THE BUILDING the sell will be final in 30 days!! I could see it coming but not this soon i figured maybe early next year. The catholic school behind my shop has quickly been buying up the whole neighborhood. My old house is now a soccer field and my little shop will soon be a parking lot for all the yuppy scum to park their S.U.V.'s and sports cars. I cant begin to tell you how bummed I am I have become so attached to my little shop and have so many fond memories inside this little building. 2 years flew by so fast october 1st 2009 we moved in now we move out cause the wrecking ball is coming in October 15. I have been searching high and low for a new shop in town and maybe out of state just not sure yet. I gotta lotta stuff to move and a short time to do it in. I hope to get up and running again in a couple months. Keep us in your prayers Love the Armentas

My good friends Mike & Abby from Germany came and visited us here in sweltering Arizona for a couple days and we had some sweet times. Mike is in the Draggers c.c. over in Munchen and he is an amazing artist and tattooer. He drew this year's show poster and tattooed it on me over the weekend. Ooooh, it turned out so good. Thanks so much brother. I love you!!

I gave them the Arizona grand tour from Prescott to Tucson, in record breaking temps for August. It hit 120 f. the other day, it's hot. We hit up some vintage shops, junk yards, shot guns, built a chopper, ate tons and tons of food and got fat. Mike even ate the super great big one. We all saw him do it. It was a feat I couldn't master.

We enjoyed having you guys and we miss you loads!

1949 PanShovel Chopper 4 SALE!!!

I have this real sweet 1949 Panshovel Chopper project up for sale. It starts and runs good and it only needs a few more things to be road ready. It should be completed in a few days. I can either complete the bike and leave it in it's current condition or I can rebuild it to your liking. The bike has a 21" spool up front with a new tire and a 18" rear wheel with a juice drum and a new avon tire on back. The frame is a 1955 panhead straight leg, that has been chopperized but is in good condition. The motor and trans are nice and in working order. It has a couple of little sweet bits and bobs. It can be yours for a reasonable price. The bike is titled and registered in Arizona as a 1949 Harley Davidson in my name. I have two wide glide forks for sale. One that is 6 over and one that is stock length. The six over one accepts a star hub wheel and early style mechanical brake it is a 1949-1972 style it also has the lower tree flipped for that sweet clean custom look. Well yesterday my good holmbre luke hit the road solo headed back to beautiful buffalo, new york. He graduated friday from MMI motorcycle school and from the shop I call it L.T.I. love cycles tech institute!! I am sure gonna miss you buddy you became part of the family. He set off yesterday across this big beautiful country headed for home. He called me today and made it to MOab Utah safe and sound, he will hit denver 2 maro and then omaha, chicago, cleveland then home if the beemer makes it which iam sure it will. All I can say about today is wooooow what an experience it was to jump out of a perfectly good plane. My good buddies, Jason, one of the top skydivers in the world works down at skydive az as one of the head instructors anD Luxi George had been telling me to come on down to Eloy, for the past couple months, to go parachute with them. I had been putting it off and off because I am a big scaredy cat, every time i thought of jumping from a plane. Well, today it happened I loaded up the whole family early this mornin with our good friends zach and soph in tow along with their little boy riahs, I hopped on the faithful old shovel and hit the road towards eloy we got there with a few hiccups along the way like the primary belt deciding to jump off headin down I-10 but we made it safe and sound. I convinced mona and zach to jump with me mona , mona was a little scared at first but once we hoped in the plane she was ready. It was scary all i could think about was i cant believe WE ARE GONNA JUMP FROM THIS PERFECT PLANE what am i thinking.. As the little plane got to 13,000 feet everyone started jumpin out I was hooked to georges wife kim who is a top instructor at the school and mona and zach were right behind me as we left the plane. As we inched to the door there was no turning back It was a feeling i cant explain If u are scared of heights u gotta do it for sure. I dont think i breathed for the first 10 seconds until i realized just go with so i did and the rest was amazing the feeling of falling is just nuts u really get a feel for the world u are in. Jason and sandy were next to us the whole time shootin video and takin pics and flying around us the whole thing happens so fast u jump u fall real fast then the shoot opens and it is so peacful and quite all the way to the ground the adrenaline rush is like no other i have ever had. It was so cool once we landed i couldnt believe I did it and so did mona and zach our first jump all together it was a great thing to share with them. After we recovered from the jump and hugged the babies we went for a little swim then over to the wind tunnel were jason showed me how to properly fly it is super hard but he makes it look so easy.Thanks so much Jason, george, kim, sandy who shot the sweet photos and video, mona, zach sophie and the babies for being troppers and the skydive az crew for such a generous gift love 4 ever jeremiah

Christmas in July

This last month was like Christmas in July. I received a few super sweet gifts from friends, whom I love loads. My little brother marcus sent me a little package packed to the brim with goodies he tracked down in Ohio. I had been searching for a good set of heads for my personal knuckle and he found me a beautiful set of knuckleheads, a matched set of early cylinders, a lifter block and original H.D. pistons, still in the harley package. Thanks so much, buddy. She will be poppin wheelies real soon. He has got a job working at a real sweet shop called the gas box which is turning out some real sweet bikes.

My old holmbre jonathan cruised by last week with a Happy days puzzle he had been telling me about for years. The one that fonzi has the knuckle I couldn't believe it super cool cant wait to put her together and hang it up thanks duderino.

My big tattooed brother from a different mother, Sebastian, from the Jokers made me this sweet little handmade leather studded pouch for my telephone 'cause I lose that sucker all the time. Now it is stored safely around my neck wherever I venture. Thanks brother. Love u.

Gone Fishin!!

This last weekend went down as one of my best memories in life so far. Friday, me, mona, jonas, angus and my pops loaded up in the old grand marquis car with my dads fishin boat in tow and headed for the saguaro lake for 3 days of campin. Me jonas and angus had been fishin quite a few times before but never had we had a trip like this. We headed to the same lake where I spent a lot of summers with my family when i was a little boy about the same age as jonas. We even camped at the same spot we always went to every summer caddilac cove my parents named it after their restaurant from back in the day. I hadn't been back to saguaro lake since 1992 it brought back lots of good memories with my dad. We might not of had the nicest boat on the lake but I am sure we had the most fun of everyone at that whole place. The smiles on my boys faces when the caught their first fishes was priceless true happiness with your children is incomparable to anything in the world.. Between jonas and angus they reeled in 31 fish mostly blue gill and a few good size catfish jonas and my dad caught at about 4 in the mornin. We got home and spelled fish on the front lawn something me and my pops always did.. We chowed them down and have been eatin them up these last few days good stuff. Till next time my sons love dad.

Germany/Sweden road trip of memories

I have been trying to wake up super early for the last couple weeks and finally woke up @ 3 am this morning so I could scan all my photos from my trip to Germany and Sweden sorry for the delay. I took along my old nikon for the trip because i wanted to have this trip saved to good old reliable B&W film, I shot a few rolls of film i wish it was more but the pictures i dont have on film are forever exposed on the memory card of my brain. My little brother Benji came along with me and made my trip more memorable if u have ever spent time with him u will know what i mean thanks so much sweet face, anyways he shot loads of pics with his digital cam and is slowing posting some pics up on his BLOBgeR.

Our trip started in munchen germany on the 7th of june at the Draggers clubhouse were we had an amazing fish feast and from then on we where on the road in a truck, bike or a boat till the 21st of june it was a real sweet time that blew by so fast. Our first 14 hours in germany was spent in the back of a cargo van in the middle of the night headed for northern germany to a city called Keil to meet up with the rest of the german crew who had left the day earlier with all there old cars, we caught the ferry to Sweden that afternoon after touring a little bit of germany. I had never been on a boat so big in my life or for that amount of time the ferry ride was like 18 hours which dropped us in Gotenborg sweden the next morning.

We unloaded the bikes the next morning and started putting down some miles across the swedish countyside headed for a little town called Tidaholm in the heart of the country were the Jokers held there sweet car and bike show. I must tell you the bike show was undescribable u have to go next year and see it for yourself believe me. We got a few miles before we hit our first rain storm they say it always rains or snows in sweden but when the sun comes out it is an experience to ride there and to feel a different country by way of a motorcycle with friends Plus the sun doesnt go down till like 1 in the mornig and then pops back up at 4 or something like that, the days were a little blurry because they lasted so long. We spent 6 days in that beautiful country seeing and doing lots of memorable things i will forever hold dear to my heart. Gotenborg is a real sweet place and it is the home of the jokers clubhouse which is filled to the roof with tons of sweet old bikes and even sweeter people. They also have the nicest bar in the city called the sissybar u must go and see and sebastians tattoo parlor where he gave me a sweet new tattoo i love u buddy.

We boarded the boat back to germany for another sweet 18 hour sea adventure with with the whole swedish crew with us now, we all pigged out till who knows when in the amazing buffet on the boat it was like a 4 star buffet not the usual 5.99 chinese buffet like we have in the states this thing was all class.. The next morning back in Keil germany we unloaded off the ferry and hit the road with i think 10 old bikes headed for bottrop car show in the middle of the country. We almost had a whole day with sunshine across the country cruisin at a nice pace of 65 mph on the autobahn were cars go faster than i can describe but it was sweet riding in such a sweet pack of friends. Our day wasnt complete though it wouldnt of been perfect without a little rain to finish the day off. I think it was the strongest rain storm I had ever been 4 real like somebody turned on the firehouse but it was amazing me and benji where the only ones whose rain suits made it into the other van that wasnt with us on the road so we improvised with trash bags. Anyways we made it to bottrop safe and sound that night and chilled.

The next couple days in bottrop was real sweet lots of cool cars and bikes and even more sweet people u must go and experience it. That sunday we split our paths with the swedes they headed north to sweden and we headed south to munchen to catch our flight home. I couldn't wait for that 15 hour flight to end so I could see my little babies and mama it was so sweet i was sandwiched between two 300 pound plus germans with some amazing B.O. memories it was an awesome time with all of you guys LOve 4 ever Jeremiah

I finished up the newest panhead a nice little 50 el for my homles fabio just in time to make it to born free 3. THe paint was done at 8 am friday morning, it was down to the last hours but it turned out just as i had hoped. Me, mona, luke and sweet michael hit the road headed for LA. about 10 hours behind schedule headed directly into the eazy bake oven, the bike ran like a top till i had a little blow out at 70 mph headed down the mountain into Indio, got some crazy wobblin action in the rear end and road her like a true cowboy nearly burnt all the sole off my boats trying to get her stopped on the downhill, i debated jumpin off the cliff over gettin runnin over by all the semins but we both survived unscathed thank god. The weekend was amazing it was the first time me and my sweet mona had beeen away alone for along time with no babies in tow it was great my sweet girl I LOVE U por siempre y siempre. the show was also super sweet there was loads of amazin bikes and people but these were some of my favorites thanks so much everyone love u

Sweden/germany tour part 1

I can't even begin to break down me and benji's trip, 13 days on the road with good friends, through rain storms, through sunny days and across countries on beautiful old machines. Benji took a million photos just waitin for the pics so i dont have any yet soon though. I got home yesterday it was so good to see the family i missed them more than i can describe. A couple weeks ago I finished up this 1957 flh for Jason Momoa who is a real sweet holmbre. He is playin the new Conan the Barbarian that comes out later this year. He brought me his bike a while back and wanted some changes done to her. So we stripped her down and between me, daniel, chris and the haifley brothers we fixed her up just the way he wanted her all bare and road ready. He will be using the bike in a sweet movie they just started filming called Road to Paloma it is going to be an awesome little movie I am glad to be a part of it. Love jeremiah. A month ago my sweet holme boy Jonah passed thru phoenix by was of S.F. on his way to his home land in southern louisiana. He rode solo cross country on his hogley davidson 4572 miles layin em down enjoyin the road and livin life. He came back through day before yesterday on his last leg of his ride headin home for his girl and his perrito. He showed up a little more burnt and dirty lookin like a true hombre of the road. We headed to burger works for my favorite burger the Super great big one, to see if jonah was up to the challenge 1 pound of double stacked angus beef with fries and a large 44oz soda, he chowed it down no prob and made me proud. After that night i vowed to begin my serious summer workout routine;) It was good seeing you brother see you again soon love the love cycles family.

I rescued this little 69 xlch from the tweekers den of all tweekers dens the other day and she is coming along nicely from her former self. It was really bad 6 gallon tanks skirted fenders the works i was able to restore my nut and bolt supply after we tore her down.. NOS Pirelli MT-53 - 4.00 x 19 tires 4 sale SOLD

I have a couple of these NOS Pirelli MT-53 - 4.00 x 19 tires both are in very nice condition with no dry rot or signs of use I checked them over real good. One tire is made in italy and is stamped mt-53 4x19 and the other is made in greece and is 4x19 they both share the same tread pattern. I have never found these in this size so if you are running a 19 and want a sweet tire these babies ride real nice. These tires are quite rare and hard to find in this shape and ready to put on any sweet old chopper or whatever. 1954 and 1951-53 Panhead tank sets 4 sale!!

I have two sets of panhead tanks one set is a one year only set 1954 only on the left side of pic. On the right side of the pic I have a set of 1951-53 tanks. Both sets are tank shift models. The 54 tanks are in pretty nice shape the right side has two dents where the emblem should be but other than that they are pretty good. The 51-53 tanks are also in decent shape but the left side tank has seen some repair over the years other than the it is also in pretty good shape. 1956 FLH Persimmon Panhead For Sale

I built this sweet machine about three years ago for my buddy Randy out in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a 1956 FLH Harley-Davidson Chopper. The Bike has less than 1000 miles since build which included a total rebuild of the engine, transmission and carburetor. The frame is OEM 1956 straight leg. The forks are OEM Knucklehead chrome-plated. Paint and molding beautifully done by Krash of Phoenix. Bike starts and runs perfectly. The vin# is perfect and has matching cases. The bike breathes through a OEM M-74 carburetor.

Chrome time machine Panhead 4 SALE $!$!

My buddy Nick has his beautiful panhead for sell and this is what he say's about it.

So here's a few pics of the panhead. It was basically built from a
stock bike - matching cases, proper trans, original swingarm frame
with a pan hardtail welded on, stock '61 rear brake, stock '61 dual
point ignition, oil tank, stock controls chromed, etc. The chopper
parts on it are all mid 70s aftermarket - bars, steel trees, spool,
seat, Branch/Mikuni carb conversion. I replaced all the soft parts,
brakes, and some gaskets. Featured in Dice issue #26. It's a good
runner and has been ridden out to Las Vegas, CA and Mexico. No
breakdowns to speak of. It sat in a garage from '82 to '08. Attached are some pics of when it was found and a few of the original owner and his wife.

Michael and Homer from TWIF camped out with me the last three days at the shop and all over phoenix from the mountains to the desert doin sweet stuff, had loads of fun and got fat eatin to much. Saturday kim from BCM stopped by on his beautiful PAnhead and we got to put some sweet miles on south mountains little curvies, Matt and Deano the machino stopped by on their sweet rides and gave me some hugs and goodies. Did a couple switcharos on the shovel yesterday. New sweet sissy bar for my mama to rest against as we put some miles on soon. Just need the new seat, also styled her up with some real comfy bars with the oh so perfect LET ME TELL U riser combo. Man she is so comfy now I just sat back and relaxed as the miles pasSed by this early morning. Little Paloma came by to help but she passed out 5 weeks now she is is growing like a weed and is Jonas's twin.

I have a real nice set of 1940-1946 BigTwin Flathead 74" or 80" U, UL, ULH model tanks 4 SALE. If you have a big flathead and need some real tanks these are it!! They come with the petcock and both stainless tank emblems. It looks like the tank has had some repairs in it's lifetime but they are still very runable. The tanks are immaculate inside not a bit of rust. The right side emblem mount needs to be installed the left side was installed at one point in time. I just finished rebuilding robin's new 51 FL pan motor for his new sickle he is putting together up in CANADA It was an adventure finding him a good motor to start with cause stuff is gettin scarce round these parts well it's all new now and sweet inside and ready for the road.
Sorry for the lack of posts the last couple weeks it's been crAzY! on the road off the road and workin my huveos off. If you ordered something and haven't got it yet, I shipped a whole ton of stuff yesterday thanks loads.
The weather has been real nice these last couple months in phoenix, soon it will be replaced with the horrible summer heat, gotta put some miles on my scooter i suggest everyone else does the same.
