Midnight ride to Cali

Riding the stretch of desert between phoenix and los angeles is something i love doing in the night. The desert heat fades, the traffic is mainly big trucks jamming through running 80..

I had finally finished this 41 knucklehead I had been wrenching on for quite some time for a friend of mine over in England. I had finished the initial 500 mile break in of the motor so I figured the last little putt to los angeles would be a breeze. I figure it is the only true test before giving it to a customer. interstate 10 will either break your bike down or show that it is ready for many more miles..

I rolled into Pomona around 2:30 a.m. needing gas. I really didn't want to stop. the cool early morning temps are what knuckleheads love and the freeways were empty. To bad the little tank only gives up about seventy miles between stops. I figured since i stopped to fill up i had to see if one of my best old friends was awake,  he surely was, Sean "Bronsonville" is truely one of a kind. we talked and ate some donuts before I got back on the bike and jammed to the long beach swap. It was nice to see many friends there, that swapmeet seems to always be so good.

I called up mona and told her all was good with the bike and I had made it to turkey and chases house in costa mesa. Mona packed up the babies and hit the rode from phoenix tracing my steps along the interstate leaving around around 6 p.m. exacty 24 hours after i had left on the bike. The 3 babies excited to play in the ocean the next day.  Jonas was monas co-pilot through the night tending to his brother and sister while mama drove. Next day we hit the beach all day exploring all of the sea life and just enjoying our short trip to California.

Turkey let me and the family campout at the house, which the kids loved they have the coolest little pad and dogs barstow and ozzie. We did a little wrenching on the scooters got to help mark a bit on his panhead. had some good meals and enjoyed our little break from the desert. I did a last once over on the knucklehead and me and Chase dropped her off at the warehouse for her long journey to England.

This summer go out and ride your bikes enjoy the moments with family and friends. Love cycles

Mike / Regina, SK, Canada

My name is Mike

I had the pleasure to meet Jeremiah (and pick up a t-shirt) last week at your shop while my family and I were in the Phoenix area.

I really appreciated the time he took to talk about the bikes, the business, the shop  and his plans for the future (also for his tour guide info).

Good luck with the move, attached are a couple shots and one still shot of my bike in and around Regina, SK.

Back on Track and Phil / Melbourne, Australia

We took a short break from our motorcycle world project.  We have been busy this last month with the move and other stuff, but I am still continuing with the project.

So far, we have received photos from California, Italy, Belgium, Canada and other states and countries.  I really appreciate all the emails.  It has been fun to see all the places everyone rides to and the beautiful places some of you see on a daily basis.

Please continue to send photos as we look forward to seeing them and displaying them on our blog.  Include your instagram account if you would like others to follow you.

Send them to: lovecyclers@gmail.com

Thanks so much,
Stephanie

Here are some photos from Phil in Australia.

Hi,

I am a keen photographer and love riding my bike so I really dig your project!

I took a ride today and used an action camera to capture these few shots. I ride a 1992 Honda CB750 [I think in the states you call these bikes "Nighthawks"]. I love my bike, but have always wanted an old chopper!

I learned about "Lovcycles" when I watched the dvd "6 over" and now I follow your blog.

So here are a few snaps from the outskirts of Melbourne, Australia. Today I rode through parts of the Yarra Valley - this area has been affected by bush fires recently. It has always been a great place to ride.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,

Phil

Vilmino / Tuscany, Italy

I visited Jeremiah at the shop in summer 2010.  We spent just an hour together as I was on a road trip.

It's so cool what you started on the blog, as I love blogs, here's my little contribution.

Last Sunday, we had a cool motorcycle run organized by a very close friend, Ciro @ http://old-aroma.blogspot.it.
Rain, sun, wind and hail in the same morning, from the country to the coast…

Jeremiah did a supercool handle-bar set for Ciro, a couple of years ago, and now it's on our good friend Chelico's softail.  It was his test-ride… his bike is a work in progress but the handle-bar set-up is done and it looks very good.  My bro Emiliano had his new front end test ride, too. super cool!!

so, this is about it. good time, no bullshit… FREE ENTHUSIASM.

Cheers from Tuscany.

Hon / Toronto, Canada

Hon here from Toronto, Canada. Looking threw some photos now for a photo show and came across some photos shot by my buddy Al, while I was taking photos of my friend Jason's digger for Street Chopper. It's very rare I'm actually in a photo, usually I'm behind the lenses.

I happen to be wearing a Love Cycle shirt. Not sure if Jeremiah remembers, but I got mine directly from him at Born Free 2. I was out there alone and he took the time to chat with me, make me feel welcome and show me his blown transmission!

The shirts been with me all over the world and I'm glad to show some support.

Take care, and keep up the great work!
